Laurie has garnered Emmy nominations and Golden Globe wins as gruff misanthrope Dr. Gregory House on Fox’s much-watched medical series House. Earlier this year, his voice appeared in the DreamWorks’ animated flick Monsters vs. Aliens. Off screen, the English actor plays keyboard in a band, appropriately called Band from TV. The group, which includes fellow TV stars Greg Grunberg (Heroes) and James Denton (Desperate Housewives), donates proceeds from its performances and recordings to charity.
