Is this not everyone’s worst nightmare? You’re lying in a hospital bed unable to communicate with doctors, who are already planning to use you as a donor. Such is the case in the next episode of House, which stars musician-turned-actor Mos Def as a patient wtih locked-in syndrome.

Luckily, Dr. House is the evil genius he is and immediately suspects it’s the syndrome that leaves patients unable to communicate beyond merely blinking. In our humble opinions, Mos Def delivers an Emmy-worthy performance throghout. See for yourself in these clips:
