Viewers can get a second opinion on the hit series HOUSE with exclusive new content incorporated into encore airings starting tonight, Friday, March 5 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), on FOX. The never-before-seen material includes cast members’ revealing their behind-the-scenes insight on the episode’s production process, as well as their unique perspective as both an actor in – and a viewer of – the episode. Participating cast members include series stars Hugh Laurie, Lisa Edelstein, Robert Sean Leonard, Omar Epps, Jesse Spencer, Olivia Wilde and Peter Jacobson. Each cast member will be featured over the course of the encore schedule through Friday, May 21.

Twitter House MD Olympics is a joint project between House MD and Huddy Online web-teams. It was created to promote House MD show, trivia, knowledge and fun amongst its members, followers and House MD fans in general.

Twitter Olympics will test fans’ knowledge about House MD characters (both main and guest stars), their lives, lines and quotes used in specific circumstances, and possibly gimmicks and facial expressions as well. It aims to test the overall knowledge of a dedicated House MD fan (which in fact should be extensive).

Winners of each round will be featured here, along with links to their twitter accounts, small bio and other web media they run (live journals, fan fiction sites etc.). Future competitions will also include the Battle of the Best featuring the individual competition winners.

‘Gossip Girl’ star joins Hugh Laurie in indie dramatic comedy

Leighton Meester of “Gossip Girl” will star in indie dramatic comedy “The Oranges” opposite Hugh Laurie.

Production companies are Media Rights Capital, FilmNation and Olympus Pictures. Anthony Bregman, FilmNation’s Glen Basner and Leslie Urdang of Olympus are producing.

Script by Jay Reiss and Ian Helfer centers on a man’s romantic relationship with the daughter of a family friend, which turns their lives upside down. Julian Farino will direct, with shooting expected to begin in April in New York City. Catherine Keener’s also been cast.

Meester will be seen next in Warner’s “Date Night” and upcoming Screen Gems thriller “The Roommate.” She’s repped by WME and Leverage Entertainment.

House star Hugh Laurie will be heard playing piano on the next Meat Loaf album.

While the House star is best known for his acting he has had a few music roles over the years. He appeared in the Kate Bush video for the 1986 single ‘Experiment IV’ and was also seen in Annie Lennox’s clip for ‘Walking On Broken Glass’.

Meat Loaf is about to release his new album ‘Hang Cool Teddy Bear’ and apart from Laurie the album also features Queen’s Brian May, Jack Black, Just Hawkins from the Darkness, Steve Vai and songs written by American Idol judge Kara Dioguardi.

‘Hang Cool Teddy Bear’ is a concept album based on a short story by Killian Kerwin about a man wounded in a war.

The album will be released on April 23.

Meat Loaf will be in Australia next week to talk it up.

Laura Prepon (“That ‘70s Show”) Guest-Stars

House and the team take on the case of an avid blogger (guest star Prepon) admitted with sudden bruising and bleeding. From her hospital bed, the patient blogs about her symptoms, doctors and prospective diagnoses to her dedicated band of followers and solicits their advice on a course of treatment. Such openness leads the team to contemplate the value of privacy, especially after House and Wilson uncover secrets from one another’s past.
