Starting episode #5 today… It’s crazy! It’s crime our writers haven’t been nominated for an Emmy!

The German-born actress appears in the two-hour season premiere, which is directed by executive producer Katie Jacobs.

Fellow House executive producer David Shore recently told us, “Those two hours take place basically exclusively within the institution” over a period of six months, as damaged doc Gregory House’s (Hugh Laurie) attempts to recover from the hallucinations that crippled him at the end of season five.

This episode films between the 10th and 20th of August.

Fox’s “House” had lined up James Earl Jones as a guest star. He plays an African dictator who becomes a patient at Princeton-Plainsboro. The installment will air in the fall. The series starts its new season Sept. 21 with a two-hour episode.

Fox isn’t saying a lot more. But imagine Jones and Hugh Laurie getting into arguments. The show could be a scorcher.
